Bioliberty’s aim is to empower every human to live a longer independent life by providing assistive robotics and rehabilitative technologies. Over 2.5 million people in the UK suffer from hand weakness as a result of Arthritis, Stroke, MS and many other conditions. Bioliberty is shaping a future where independence is no longer restricted by traumatic and degenerative conditions. We design life changing technology to provide exceptional health and social care services and improve patient outcomes.
Our first product is the LifeGlov. A robotic exoskeleton glove which helps you grip, accompanied by a digital therapy platform which helps develop natural hand strength. Our solution allows sufferers of hand weakness to take control of their rehabilitation, from the comfort of their own home. It allows medical professionals to visualise therapy progress using data collected from our hardware.
The global rehabilitative robotics industry will reach £9.5bn of revenue by 2027. Our beachhead market (corresponding to Arthritis, Stroke and Post Surgery) will correspond to £1.4bn of this revenue.
