Scottish Enterprise’s Growth Investments Team has been funding high growth potential companies since 2003. Our aim is to boost funding levels for globally ambitious Scottish companies, ensuring the right levels of funding, from the right sources, get to the right companies at the right time. We can provide co-investment into early stage and established Scottish companies raising equity, alongside private investors, including business angels, angel syndicates, venture capital groups and corporate investors, and loan funding to companies with an ability to repay the debt. Financial Readiness experts can also offer support and advice and can help companies access a range of funding from the private and public sector, including bank funding, equity funding, loan funding and grants.
Our international arm, Scottish Development International, promotes Scotland as a place for investment and trade. Securing more international trade and investment is vitally important in helping to create a more dynamic and globally competitive economy in Scotland.
