Gemma is an investor in BGF’s Central Scotland & Northern Ireland team. BGF is a £2.5bn fund and is the UK and Ireland’s most active investor, focused on investing in growing SMEs across all sectors. BGF has invested over £280m in Scotland across a variety of companies and sectors including tech, manufacturing, waste and hospitality.

Gemma’s role is to identify, source and execute investments for BGF. Prior to joining BGF, Gemma worked in private equity, where she was involved in executing and completing investments, including mezzanine finance, to Scottish SMEs across multiple sectors and assisted with successfully securing fund management mandates. Gemma began her career as a corporate solicitor at DLA Piper.
