Creating opportunities with the EIE for Everyone Programme

Purchase a ticket, booth or pavilion to EIE and take part in the EIE for Everyone programme to give someone a ticket to EIE, completely free.

EIE has always been an incredible opportunity for start-ups and entrepreneurs to connect with investors and businesses within their sector and part of our mission is looking to reach and encourage new audiences.

For EIE21 we are launching EIE for Everyone. From now until the 10th June, we will give everyone who purchases a ticket, booth or pavilion the opportunity to provide someone from an underrepresented group with a completely free ticket to attend EIE.

EIE has space for everyone’s voice and diversity can only bring strength, new ideas and new points of view.

How does EIE for Everyone work?

We have a large number of tickets allocated to this Programme, so when you buy a ticket or take a booth or pavilion, you can nominate an individual from an underrepresented group to also attend, free of charge.

Once you have purchased your ticket you will get a confirmation email containing a link to the nomination form. Simply fill in this form with your and your nomination’s details.

Why attend EIE?

Attending EIE will give you both the unique opportunity to network with:

  • Start-ups at different stages of investment
  • International investors
  • Corporate sponsors
  • Business leaders
  • Thought leaders from across the University of Edinburgh

What qualifies as an underrepresented group?

The technology ecosystem in Scotland has traditionally had a range of groups that are underrepresented and we are open to a wide range of nominations. We will be open and inclusive in how the term is applied.
